In April, US President Donald Trump announced a plan to make changes to the famous Reflecting Pool on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Mr. Trump bent rules to get the changes completed quickly, saying the pool would be better and last longer. But after spending $16.4 million, the pool looks worse than ever.

Last October, Australia put out a new $50 bill, which is harder to copy. Sadly, the bills have a spelling mistake that didn't get noticed until after the bank had put out 46 million of them.
After a US radio show wrongly reported that a city in Japan was having trouble finding ninjas, the city got messages from over 100 people asking about the jobs.
The US Postal Service has been told to pay $3.5 million because they put a picture of the wrong Statue of Liberty on one of their postage stamps.
